Custom Pools designed and built for Silverleaf homes — engineered for Sonoran heat, monsoon storms, and the design standards Silverleaf buyers expect.
Silverleaf is Scottsdale's most rigorously designed luxury community — Upper Canyon and Horseshoe Canyon lots sit on multi-million-dollar custom homes with architect, interior designer, and landscape coordinated as one master plan. AE Outdoor Living designs and builds estate-grade negative-edge, vanishing-edge, and raised-perimeter spa pools for Silverleaf members — engineered for hillside grade, McDowell view corridors, Native Plant preservation, and the Silverleaf Design Review Committee process every exterior change goes through. We work alongside Silverleaf's preferred architects and luxury builders as a single coordinated trade.
Silverleaf architecture is tightly curated — Tuscan, Santa Barbara, Andalusian, and Mediterranean Revival dominate Upper Canyon and Horseshoe. The pool, deck, coping, and spa wall have to extend the home's stone, plaster, and roof palette. We design alongside your architect and interior designer so the water, decking, and spa read as one continuous material story.
The Silverleaf Design Review Committee reviews every exterior change — pool shell, coping, deck stone, plant palette, fencing, and lighting. We prep the full DRC packet with samples, attend reviews, handle revisions, coordinate with the Silverleaf Club and DC Ranch master association, and shepherd City of Scottsdale ESL, hillside, and Native Plant compliance through to final inspection.
Silverleaf estate pools typically run $180,000 for a designer pool on a flatter lot up to $600,000+ for vanishing-edge view-lot builds with raised perimeter spa, imported stone deck, integrated water and fire features, and engineered hillside retaining. We quote fixed-price after the 3D design — no estate-rebuild surprises.
Recent Silverleaf pool builds include an Upper Canyon negative-edge pool with raised perimeter spa overlooking the McDowells, a Horseshoe Canyon vanishing-edge pool with imported limestone decking, an Arcadia at Silverleaf Pebble Sheen pool with frameless glass fencing, and a Silverleaf Village remodel with old-pool removal and new modern view-lot pool.
Silverleaf has its own Design Review Committee on top of City of Scottsdale ESL, hillside, and Native Plant codes. We prep the full architectural packet — site plan, pool shell drawing, material samples, plant palette, lighting layout — attend the review, and handle revisions until approved. You don't talk to DRC; we do.
Yes — hillside negative-edge and vanishing-edge pools are most of what we build in Silverleaf. We engineer the structural shell, retaining walls, drainage, and view corridor together so the pool reads as a natural extension of the lot.
Yes — most Silverleaf projects involve an architect, interior designer, landscape architect, and a luxury custom-home builder. We're an established Silverleaf trade and design alongside them so the pool, deck, spa, and structures read as one cohesive build.
Pool projects follow Arizona ROC standards: 15% down at contract signing, 25% at dig, 25% at plumbing, 25% at decking, and the remaining 10% right before the pool finish goes in. See /payment-terms for the full breakdown.
