Outdoor Kitchens designed and built for Scottsdale homes — engineered for Sonoran heat, monsoon storms, and the design standards Scottsdale buyers expect.
From April through October, the inside oven is the last place anyone in Scottsdale wants to be. AE Outdoor Living designs and builds true outdoor kitchens — Lynx, Hestan, DCS, Twin Eagles, Coyote — with gas lines, water and drain, refrigeration, and stone counters that handle 115° summers and monsoon-season storms. Every build is integrated with the pool deck, pergola, and patio so it reads as a single outdoor room, not a tacked-on BBQ island.
Scottsdale outdoor kitchens should match the home — travertine and stacked stone for Santa Barbara and Tuscan, smooth stucco and porcelain for Modern Desert Contemporary, brick or board-form concrete for Transitional. We spec counter, door, and grill finish to read alongside the pool and pergola.
City of Scottsdale plumbing, gas, and electrical permits, plus HOA review for DC Ranch CRC, Silverleaf DRC, Desert Mountain DRC, Grayhawk, Troon. Gas line sizing engineered, water and drain to code, all final inspections handled by us.
Scottsdale outdoor kitchens typically run $25,000 for a quality grill island with stone counter up to $90,000+ for a fully integrated kitchen with premium grill, side burner, refrigeration, ice maker, sink, bar seating, and shade structure. We quote fixed-price after the 3D design.
Recent Scottsdale outdoor kitchen builds include a Lynx 42-inch grill with Hestan side burner and integrated U-Line refrigeration in DC Ranch, a stacked-stone bar with Twin Eagles grill and stamped porcelain counter in Silverleaf, a full pool-side kitchen with copper pergola in Grayhawk, and a Modern Desert outdoor kitchen with poured-concrete counter in Troon.
Lynx and Hestan are our top picks for build quality and warranty. Twin Eagles and DCS are excellent. Coyote and Blaze are strong value plays. We avoid grills with thin gauge stainless or stamped (not welded) burners — they don't survive Arizona sun.
Yes — if your home has gas service, we extend it. Line sizing is engineered for the BTU load of all appliances together. If you're on propane only, we plumb a buried tank to spec.
Strongly recommended. Direct Arizona sun degrades grill electronics, melts plastic knobs, and makes the kitchen unusable from May through September. We integrate pergola, ramada, or attached patio cover into the design.
From HOA approval through final inspection, 4–8 weeks depending on scope and whether utilities need to be extended.
