Tanning Ledge (Baja Shelf)
A shallow pool shelf (typically 6–12 inches deep) for loungers, umbrellas, and kids — the most-requested pool feature of the past decade.
Tanning ledges (also called Baja shelves) extend usable pool surface for adults sunning, kids playing, and umbrella stands. Add an umbrella sleeve cast into the gunite during construction. Typically 6 ft wide × 10 ft long minimum to actually be usable.
