Lighting

Color Temperature (Kelvin)

The warmth or coolness of a light source, measured in Kelvin (K) — 2700K is warm/residential, 4000K is neutral, 5000K+ is daylight/commercial.

Outdoor residential lighting should almost always be 2700K to 3000K — warmer light that flatters stone, wood, plants, and skin. Anything 4000K and above reads industrial and washes out landscape. Match all fixtures to the same color temperature within a single scene.
